Coming to a Theatre Near You

JULY 14, 2023

A quick announcement. After ten months of deep reflection and gathering all my “lists” of things to do, your elevator guy has finally completed and sent off to be self-published,  the final manuscript of a workbook that was promised to our Foundational Band of Brothers, which brother Randy and I have been working with the last three years. It is actually a book titled “Brotherhood of Men” which is appropriate for both men and women of all ages. Working on the cover right now and should have the first printed copy by the end of August or first of September. Since I am a man of few words (NOT!) I was surprised at the length of the book. I know I have lots to say after three quarters of a century (Man, you are an old dude!) so I hope it doesn’t read like “War and Peace” to you who might be interested in seeing the final product. The intent is to merely share with whoever is interested, our Foundational Band of Brothers four pillars of Wisdom, Courage, Self-Mastery, and Love, along with a few other topics related to our group.

For you that know me, I am usually all over the place with my thoughts, emotions, and words. (Just trying to live life fully, by learning to put two sentences together HA!)) However, this turned out to be a very humbling and rewarding experience that will help guide me in the next chapter in my life. (Even though life isn’t about me.) Thanks to each one of you for allowing me to share my Elevator Guy remarks with you each Friday since October of 2015. It has given me the confidence to put my thoughts and feelings into words.

While I still enjoy working individually with people of all ages, Randy and I plan to use this workbook as a curriculum for small groups or individuals as well. We will be updating our website (elevatorguy.net) along with preparing to sell a few books that will hopefully cover our expenses. (My grandkids still need shoes. Ha!)

Thanks again for all your support in encouraging your elevator guy (and I usually don’t need too much encouragement) to continue writing these weekly remarks. We may be looking at changing the format or timing of these remarks in the future. We just want to give you what you want and need in life.
